Illustration and Caricatures for Publication
Illustration work is priced by a number of factors:
Time, complexity of work, and usage. The more information you can give about the project in your initial email the better we can estimate a price.
Here are some things you can include in your initial email...
1. Usage (Children's Book, T-shirt, web logo, Christmas Cards,etc)
2. If for publication, how many copies will be printed?
3. What type of reproduction rights are you seeking?
4. How many illustrations or pages do you need?
5. Do you already have a Character or Characters or will I be designing them?
6. Do you have a budget in mind?
Pricing and procedures:
Note that all illustration work requires a minimum of 25% of total fee deposit before any work will be commenced.
This is non refundable should you choose not to use the work in your project and cover the artists time spent on consultation and rough sketches.
Rush orders will be charged a minimum of +25% of normal fee and at least 50% of fee to be paid up front.
Again, this fee is non refundable should you choose not to use the work in your project and artist retains all copyrights to the work unless contract specifies otherwise.
Deposits can be paid by cash, credit card via paypal or check*.
* If paying by check no work will be completed until check has cleared bank.
